We are a local, independent cycling shop focused on increasing bicycle ridership through sales, service, outreach, and community. We are head over heels in love with the bicycle and believe that it is the best form of transportation on the planet.
We love steel frame bikes. Steel is real. We love steel bikes because they are strong, lightweight, and durable. We also love carbon, aluminum and titanium bikes! Like we said, head over heels.
We sell new and used bikes as well as accessories and components. Can’t find the item you’re looking for? We’ll do our darndest to source it & then special order it for no extra charge.
Every bike we sell is backed with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. New bikes come with 12 months of warrantied service, generally any labor covered by our Standard Tune-Up. Used bikes come with a 3-month warranty.
We work on bikes too! From flat repairs and brake adjustments, to suspension service and Dynamo lighting setups, we’ve got you covered. And we’ll be nice about it too, because we believe in meeting folks where they’re at.
Without your support, we couldn’t be living this dream.
We don’t buy bikes, but we may be able to sell your bike for you! First, we’ll provide you with an estimate for service needed to bring the bike up to our standards. Then, we can decide together how much to sell the bike for, up to $500.
We’ll fix it up and put it on the floor, and once it sells, we’ll pay you 75% of the sale price in cash, or 90% in store credit to spend in our shop, minus the cost of service. Ya dig? (Please note, we are not able to consign department store brand bikes.)
**These events are currently on hold during the pandemic**, but here’s some fun stuff to look forward to:
We host an hour-long Free Basic Maintenance Class on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7pm. This class covers basic bike anatomy, how to clean & lube your chain, & how to change a flat.
We host a Third Thursday Cruiser Ride on, you guessed it, the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7pm. True to its name, we like to call this the slowest ride in town. It’s a no-drop ride (no one gets left behind) open to riders of all levels, and it generally sticks pretty close to downtown with very manageable mileage.
